Hi, I’m Greg.

I started my first coding job in 2000 working in VB6, and I’ve stayed coding on the Microsoft stack, moving to C# in the early 2000’s. Over the years I’ve become more and more interested in Microsoft SQL Server and Windows Server and looking at how to improve performance and reliability of SQL and Windows to support the applications they are running.

Since my first job, I’ve worked for all sorts of environment from startup companies to some of the biggest companies in Australia, including companies in the top 10 of the ASX200 and top 100 in the BRW 500 Private Companies list.

I’m currently still doing a lot of coding in C#, and I’m responsible for the running of the Database Servers for one of the biggest private companies in Australia.

Outside of work you’ll find me working hard at things more important than IT: being a loving husband, being a loving dad of 2 wonderful girls, and being part of God’s family because of the death and resurrection of Jesus.

If you have questions about data, programming, servers, family, the meaning of life, or anything in between, get in touch on twitter or drop me a message through my contact page.
